We have free high-speed DSL with WiFi available throughout the house and a computer available for checking email. We also have Skype international calling through our computer, available for a small fee.

Our rates include free taxi service from the airport. Instructions for finding the official red airport taxis are on the LOCATION page.

We can arrange car rentals and private tour drivers for any size group. Let us know your needs or let us help you plan your Costa Rican adventures.

The bus to downtown Alajuela picks up 2 blocks from the house and returns you to a stop just outside our gate for about 18 cents each way. From the downtown stop, it is only a block or 2 to bus terminals for routes to all of Costa Rica.

Secure, off-street parking is included.

Laundry facilities are available for guests staying 3 or more nights.

There is neighborhood mini-super just across the street and a large grocery store 2 blocks away for your snack and beverage needs.

Breakfast:
We serve breakfast from 7:00 until 9:00. Coffee and juice are available at dawn for early risers. Fresh tropical fruits, breads and home-made muffins are ready to start your meal while we prepare your choices from our varied menu.

Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

A Few House Rules:
Smoking is permitted on the front portico and the rear terrace only.

Well behaved children are permitted although the home is primarily furnished for adult tastes. We do not have infant care or toddler care furnishings.

Our cat, Scooter, requests that no other pets be allowed.
